According to reports, Jeannie Mai and her legal team have asked the court to hold off on enforcing her prenuptial agreement with Jeezy.
The request came via a Fulton County Superior Court, and Mai’s team asked the judge to deny the motion from Jeezy to enforce the prenup or hold off until her team and Jeezy’s team can exchange information about the agreement.
Mai claims she didn’t have enough time to review the prenuptial agreement before signing it, claiming the process was very quick. Mai alleges that she and the rapper negotiated the agreement only five days before they got married. Because of that, she feels she wasn’t able to take a proper look at the agreement with her soon-to-be ex-husband.
Mai also noted she has “significant reservations” about Jeezy’s finances, saying he only gave up one personal financial document that featured an approximate amount of taxes. Stay tuned for more updates.
