Pikesville High School's principal, Eric Eiswert, is facing criticism after an audio recording containing racist and antisemitic comments attributed to him circulated on social media. A parent, Davina McCain, called for his immediate removal, expressing deep concern over the offensive remarks made about students' test scores, an African American staff member, and the Pikesville Jewish community. WJZ has chosen not to publish the recording due to unverified authenticity, but CBS News Standards & Practices analyzed it.

When WJZ visited Eiswert's home for a comment, a person at the door stated that he was not home and questioned whose side the reporters were on, expressing doubt about the credibility of Eiswert's story. Parents, reacting to the social media posts, demand Eiswert's resignation if the comments are verified.

Baltimore County Schools sent letters to Pikesville High families and faculty, with the superintendent condemning the statements as deeply disturbing and not reflective of the school system's values. While the district cannot confirm the recording's legitimacy, an investigation is underway. Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski expressed strong disapproval of the circulated statements, pledging full support to Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS). The ongoing investigation, treated as a personnel matter, will result in swift action if necessary, according to the superintendent.
