QAnon Shaman, one of the most recognized figures from the January 6 Capitol riots, defends his actions, saying he and others are being painted as traitors by the media and government seeking to centralize power. He claims that those who breached the Capitol were less than 1% of peaceful protesters. He adds that the media has misrepresented the incident as a great tragedy, comparing it to Pearl Harbor and 9/11 while disregarding similar acts in the past committed by 'their side.' After being identified, QAnon Shaman turned himself in to the FBI. He rebuffs his lawyer's claims that he has schizophrenia, stating that it's, in fact, a schizoid type of personality disorder. He also denies ever taking drugs or medication.
