An explosion at the Sandman Signature Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas, resulted in at least 21 injuries. The incident occurred in the downtown area at the recently opened hotel, housed in a 102-year-old building. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported. Law enforcement mentioned that 14 people were hospitalized, with one in critical condition and four in serious condition.

The blast caused significant damage to the hotel, blowing out windows on multiple floors. The explosion, believed to have originated in the kitchen of the Musume restaurant on the basement level, injured three of its employees. Musume was closed during the incident. Firefighters rescued several individuals, and a gas smell was reported in the area, prompting an investigation by Atmos Energy. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott assured readiness to deploy additional resources to ensure safety in the affected area.
