Ice Spice’s rise to success has found her with the likes of artists like Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Drake, and more. The New York rapper also has a younger brother—Joey Gaston, who is reportedly one of the top high school football players in the state of New York, and spoke about how his sister’s success is weaving into his time as a football player.
While speaking to Complex, the Iona Prep High School player said, “Defensive ends, they sack me, and they like, ‘You thought I was feeling you?’ I was playing in the semifinals of the playoffs. Second half we’re getting ready to go on the field.”
Gaston continued describing the situation, saying, “I hear the student section like, ‘All right, he’s coming, he’s coming.’ They start clapping and saying ‘We love Ice Spice’ clap clap ‘we love Ice Spice. Next drive, I threw a touchdown and I went to the sidelines and I started clapping.” Watch above.
