PartyNextDoor recently took to social media and spoke about who the king of SoundCloud is.
The artist spoke on not being included in the discussion, and said “Y’all don’t even count me, and I hear who they say, ‘Who’s the SoundCloud king.’ It’s undeniable.” The rapper’s swift releases of tracks like “Make a Mil” followed by his song “Curious,” are why he feels he should be included.
From there, Party talked about his trajectory after dropping his first few songs, saying, “Who went from SoundCloud to Diplo? Who went from the runner-up to who made songs with every single top artist?”
Party then doubled down, saying, “People are chasing that today, and they can beat it, they can beat the record, but there’s no one person who went from Kanye, Nicki, Lil Wayne, Drake — everyone who’s important from SoundCloud. Like it was supposed to be a joke.” Watch above.
