Method Man is looking to distance himself from the ongoing rivalry between 50 Cent and Diddy. The executive producer of the Power universe recently posted a throwback clip of Method Man expressing his "hate" for Kanye West on Instagram, claiming to have witnessed a questionable incident at one of Diddy's parties. In response, Method Man clarified on social media that the video was edited and urged 50 Cent and Diddy to keep him out of the feud.
He pointed out that the full, unedited video is available on YouTube from 2011, where Method Man discusses his dislike for certain hip-hop blogs and gossip columnists of the time. The rapper's comment about Kanye West in the original video appears to have been rhetorical, used as an example of what bloggers tend to sensationalize.
