Eddie Murphy is bringing back his iconic "Beverly Hills Cop" character Axel Foley in the new reboot, "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F," and he was seen for the first time in character in the new trailer.
An official synopsis for the movie was also revealed, which states: "After his daughter’s life is threatened, she (Taylour Paige) and Foley team up with a new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and old pals Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) to turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy."
Eddie previously spoke about reprising the role with PEOPLE, stating, "It was a hard one. I did Axel Foley when I was in my 20s. I am not in my 20s anymore. It was an action movie. So it was a rough one. But we got through it." Check out the trailer in full above.
