According to reports, Rich The Kid was arrested in Miami Beach early Monday morning.
Miami-Dade police responded to a bomb threat at the SLS Hotel in South Beach, where the rapper was staying. Police noted the hotel was sectioned off with police tape while they checked out the scene.
Rich The Kid spoke to the police, saying he needed to get to his hotel room, but was told he couldn’t do that until they completed their building sweep. Rich allegedly ignored their warning of possible arrest if he entered the hotel before they concluded their search.
The rapper allegedly told police, “I’ll bond out in 20 minutes,” before attempting to jump the fence of the hotel. Rich The Kid ended up being arrested for resisting an officer without violence and also trespassing.
