Memphis Bleek recently sat down for an interview with DJ Superstar Jay, where he recalled a time when he and Jay-Z had to fight their way out of a Miami club.
Memphis Bleek explained that Jay-Z and their crew had turned the club up and gotten too rowdy, so the club told them they had to pay $50,000 before they could leave. Memphis Bleek explained, "We turned this club in Miami upside down, my n****. They made us pay 50 grand to leave. Hov, he had to pay 50 racks. They extorted the f*** out of us."
Memphis Bleek went on to add, "But we cracked heads, foreheads, faces — we were going crazy. They locked the doors. We had to pay to get out! They shook us up. This was Streets Is Watching Hov."
Vouching for Jay-Z, Memphis Bleek explained, "See, they see billionaire dread Hov, they think my man ain’t got them hands. Hov will put knuckles on you! He’ll put them hard bottoms on your a** too. He used to start trouble too. All that Cristal, n****, he was on some s***. Just know that. Hov was on some s***. All this laidback, cool Beyoncé Hov? I love it, but back then he was on some s***."
