Previously, Jeannie Mai alluded to Jeezy cheating on her during their marriage, with the claim being made via Jeannie’s lawyer in response to the rapper’s petition for divorce. The note from the lawyer said: “Wife reserves the right to amend this counterclaim to add other grounds for divorce, but which Wife does not wish to specify herein at this time in the hope this matter can be resolved without having to disclose such conduct publicly.” Since then, Jeezy has issued a response to Jeannie, denying the claim.
Via US Weekly, a representative for the rapper said, “Any claims of infidelity on Mr. Jenkins’ behalf are 100 percent false, and we have no further statements at this time.” Prior to issuing the statement, Jeezy noted a few weeks back that his decision to divorce Jeannie Mai “was not made impulsively.” Stay tuned for more updates.
