The Game shared his experiences and insights about his time on the West Coast during the fading days of Death Row Records. He noted his association with the label, highlighting it was a shell of its former glory after the death of Tupac and the departure of Snoop Dogg and others. He spent time with the label, mingling with artists such as Suge Knight, Eastwood, and Crooked I. However, he eventually concluded it wasn't the right place for him. The Game stated his competitive nature pushed him to work with P. Diddy, ultimately leading to him being signed by Dr. Dre when he was ready, marking a significant point in his career.
