Boosie took to Instagram Live on Thursday (November 30), where he revealed that he was moving ahead with a lawsuit against Rod Wave for sampling his song "Long Journey."
While speaking about his discussion with Rod, Boosie explained, "I told dude, ‘Give me two hundred thousand and 25 percent of the record going forward and I’m not gone sue you or nothing bro." Boosie added, "This dude thought I was gone tell him two million," and he went on to reveal that Rod offered to "meet you halfway with one fifty."
Boosie explained that he wasn't backing down from his offer, adding, "I got to get the 200. I’m already spending 30 with my lawyer to sue you. I tried to work with that dude. Now when the suit come, you gone pay me for emotional damages, Instagram… everything."
