A potentially significant development unfolded in the A$AP Rocky assault case as prosecutors presented a video in an L.A. courtroom, claiming it showed him holding a gun before allegedly shooting former Mob member A$AP Relli. During Monday afternoon's proceedings, the video was played, with prosecutors asserting that the individual holding the gun in the clip was A$AP Rocky engaged in a physical altercation with Relli. LAPD detective Frank Flores testified, stating that the video was obtained as part of their investigation. To reinforce their argument, the prosecution also displayed still photos from the footage, contending that they depicted A$AP Rocky with a firearm.

Rihanna's partner attended court as prosecutors built their case against him, donning a dark blue suit, black glasses, and a black facemask. He remained composed throughout the explosive testimony. Prosecutors additionally played a separate clip that they claimed captured two gunshots, although no video of the alleged shooting itself was presented. Relli maintains that Rocky shot his hand during the incident.

Police body camera footage was exhibited in court, revealing at least seven officers arriving at the scene of the purported shooting and conducting a search for evidence. However, they did not find the weapon.
