There has been speculation surrounding DJ Envy after the arrest of Cesar Piña, who was arrested for an alleged multimillion-dollar real estate scheme.
Piña regularly appeared on The Breakfast Club and on social media with DJ Envy to promote his real estate investment business, leading many to question if the popular radio host would be implicated in the case. Now, Envy's attorney is speaking out about the situation.
Legal journalist Meghann Cuniff took to X to speak about her conversation with Envy's attorney, Massimo D'Angelo, who she says told her "Obviously, Envy is going to be assisting and cooperating fully to get not only his money back, but money back for the other victims."
Cuniff added, "D'Angelo says Envy invested $500K with Pina but 'didn't get any money back.'" D'Angelo added, "He paid out substantial sums similar to some of the other investors who thought they were getting money back."
