"Basketball Wives" alum Brittish Williams was sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty earlier this year to 15 counts of various types of fraud.

Williams was indicted in 2021 and accused of not paying taxes and under-reporting the income of her businesses. She was also accused of using other people's identities to open bank accounts without their knowledge.

During her sentencing on Tuesday (October 24), Williams told the judge, "I knew better, and I did wrong anyway," as she asked for leniency. The judge responded to Williams, telling her that she has a "fraudster mentality."

The judge also pointed to Williams' celebrity, telling her, "Not only are you out there for people to watch your entertainment, but also for people to watch you. … That's a big obligation."
