Previously, allegations of domestic abuse arose in connection to actor Jonathan Majors, who has proclaimed his innocence in the situation since the beginning. At one point, it was reported that the NYPD had evidence to arrest Majors’ accuser, Grace Jabbari, for attacking him. Now, Jabbari will reportedly be charged with assault.
Jabbari is expected to voluntarily report to the 10th Precinct for the NYPD and will be issued a desk appearance ticket. The ticket requires a suspect to appear in court to face charges. The charges were confirmed by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Public Information for the NYPD.
Majors’ trial was delayed and is expected to occur on October 25. Attorneys for Major said, “From the beginning, we have said Jonathan Majors is innocent and provably the victim here. Mr. Majors met with the NYPD to present them with evidence of what really happened on that night.”
