Cesar Pina, the former business partner of DJ Envy, was arrested on fraud charges on Wednesday. However, contrary to reports, federal officials did not raid the iHeartRadio offices or confiscate electronic equipment, as confirmed by federal law enforcement sources.

Envy's attorney, Massimo D'Angelo, stated to TMZ Hip Hop that these reports are yet another instance of the media sensationalizing the story to link his client's name, even though Envy is portrayed as one of the victims, not a perpetrator, of the alleged fraud. Law enforcement sources corroborated this, and a source at iHeartMedia also confirmed that no equipment was taken from the premises.

According to sources, the New Jersey Division of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the FBI collaborated in the investigation. Officials visited the offices to inform Envy about Pina's arrest. Pina has been charged with one count of wire fraud, pleaded not guilty, and was released on a $1 million bond. He is under strict restrictions, including electronic monitoring and is not allowed to leave the state.

Envy has not faced any charges and maintains his innocence, asserting that he lost $500,000 of his own money in the deals involving Pina.
