Sowmya Krishnamurthy stopped by The Breakfast Club earlier this week to speak about her new book, "Fashion Killa," which speaks about how hip-hop influenced fashion.
During the conversation, Sowmya spoke about being a die-hard Drake fan from the start of his career, but she admitted that after his Views album, her view of him started to change. Sowmya explained that Drake seemed to change his personality and didn't give off the same energy as he did when he first came on the scene.
Sowmya's comments got the attention of Drake, who commented on the clip, writing ,"was this interview already on the schedule? Who is this..."
After DJ Akademiks shared the clip with Drake's reaction on his Instagram page, Toosii reacted in the comments section, writing, "People have this thing where they paint this definitive picture in their head that the artist you were 5 years ago that’s who you always are. People change, things change. He can make the same kind of music but how is that going to resonate to your now mid 30 year old body? You’re no longer in college dating a guy who doesn’t really love you cuddling toes in a dorm room Samantha sorry to tell you."
