Update 09/25/2023 9:21am:

Drake responded to Charlamagne Tha God's criticism of his latest single, "Slime You Out" ft. SZA, and he referenced a viral VladTV interview from 2013.

After calling Charlamagne an "off-brand Morris Chestnut," Drake posted a screenshot of Charlamagne's VladTV interview. In the sit-down, Charlamagne famously said, "It’s three sexual orientations out there: it’s gay, straight, and Drake — and Drake is just a whole different type of breed."

Drake then addressed Charlamagne by his government name, writing, "Are you ok Lenard?? You kinda weirding me out g. Like you really obsessed with me or something for years like you look in the mirror and wish you saw my reflection type sh*t. Whatever you gotta do to let it out I’m sure your 435 loyal fans will stand by you ya f***ing goof."

Drake released the song “Slime You Out” featuring SZA ahead of his upcoming album ‘For All The Dogs.’ While the song has been the subject of discussion for many, including Halle Berry, Charlamagne Tha God recently expressed he doesn’t think anyone cares about the Canadian rapper’s newest single.

On his ‘Brilliant Idiots’ podcast, Charlamagne spoke about the newest track from Drake, saying, “Drake put out a song last Friday and nobody cared. It came out last Friday and people just started talking about the lyrics yesterday.”

‘The Breakfast Club’ host then spoke about the type of record he was expecting from Drake, saying, “That's not Drake-like. He's gonna be fine, regardless,” before saying, “I think we was looking for something a little more harder, a little more aggressive than this slow joint with SZA.” Watch above.
