Giannis Antetokounmpo, the star player for the Milwaukee Bucks, has reportedly scheduled a workout session with basketball legend Hakeem Olajuwon this off-season. Olajuwon is considered one of the greatest centers in NBA history and has trained other notable players such as LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Carmelo Anthony.

In an interview, Giannis expressed his excitement about the opportunity to learn from Olajuwon, whom he has looked up to his whole life. This news has sparked some debate, as former NBA player Gilbert Arenas questioned the value of working with Olajuwon and claimed that he charges $50,000 for his workouts.

However, many in the basketball community disagree with Arenas, including Stephen A. Smith. He argues that Olajuwon's expertise and knowledge of the game make him an excellent mentor for young players like Giannis. Olajuwon's skillset, including his post moves, rebounding, and defensive abilities, were unrivaled during his playing career.

While it is true that the game of basketball has evolved and many players now focus on perimeter shooting, Smith believes that developing skills in the post and having a strong presence in the paint is still important.
