Jada Pinkett-Smith has openly spoken about her close relationship with 2Pac over the years, and on Wednesday (September 20), she shared a throwback video of them.
The video showed Jada and Pac lip-syncing to Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff's "Parents Just Don't Understand," which is ironic, seeing as how Jada would go on to marry Will. She captioned the video, "Here is part of the original video of Pac and I doing a terrible job at lip-syncing Parents Just Don’t Understand😄."
While there has been speculation that the two entertainers had romantic feelings for one another, Jada shut that down while speaking to Howard Stern. She explained that she put their feelings to the test, stating, "There was a time when I was like, just kiss me … let’s just see how this goes. And when I tell you it had to be the most disgusting kiss for us both."
Jada added, "The only way I can put it is the Higher Power just did not want that because I feel as though if Pac and I had any kind of sexual chemistry, we might have killed each other because we were both so passionate and we loved deeply."
