Last night, the Carolina Panthers hosted the New Orleans Saints in their home opener at Bank of America Stadium on Monday Night Football. The close-knit matchup between NFC South Division rivals lived up to the billing as the Panthers' rookie quarterback Byrce Young went toe-to-toe with Derek Carr, outdueling the veteran signal-caller in touchdown passes, QBR, and rating.  Nevertheless, the Saints edged out the Panthers 20-17. After the game, Michael Thomas of the Saints and Derrick Brown of the Panthers exchanged words on the field. The unfriendly banter struck a nerve with the 6'5" 320-pound defensive tackle, who pursued the Saints veteran wide receiver into the tunnel towards the locker room. From there, the name-calling snowballed into a light altercation before bystanders broke them up.
