Publishing in the music industry has been a hot topic recently, and T-Pain added to the conversation by speaking about his multi-platinum-selling hit song "Buy U a Drank."
T-Pain explained that he got "almost no publishing" from the song because of the lyrics, which were references to other songs. T-Pain added that he was "paying homage" to the artists, which included Lil Scrappy, Lil Jon, and E-40.
While speaking about the situation during a live stream, T-Pain at least found humor in a viewer writing, "They said 'It's our money in the bank!"
