In a recent sit-down on No Jumper, openly gay Crip member Tony Willrich discussed his perspective on gang culture and his experiences growing up around it. Willrich, who gained attention for opening up about being a gay gang member in his last interview, clarified that he was not playing a character at that time. However, he did reveal that the previous interview allowed him to address questions about his past and upbringing.

Willrich shed light on the gang activity that took place in his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. He explained that Fort Worth was one of the first places to adopt gang culture early on, as people from California moved to the area. Growing up surrounded by Crips, Woolrich emphasized that his affiliation with the gang was due to being born into it, rather than actively choosing to become a member.

The conversation also touched on miscommunications and misunderstandings regarding gang culture. Willrich pointed out that the rules and regulations surrounding gangs in Los Angeles, where much of the gang culture originated, may not necessarily apply to other states. He highlighted that gang culture has evolved and that today, fewer people are actively participating in gang activities.
