Mary J. Blige reportedly has launched a lawsuit against a talent agency in Florida after they allegedly failed to pay Blige’s concert appearance fee in full.
The legendary singer and actor was supposed to appear at the Funk Fest in 2022. The RM Talent Agency behind the Miami, Florida festival agreed to pay MJB Touring $1.1 million to appear at their show on December 30, 2022.
According to court documents, Blige reportedly received payments between 2022 and early 2023 but is still owed $450,000. Payments issued to Blige previously included $250,000 on September 20, 2022, $200,000 on November 9, 2022, and another $200,000 on January 18, 2023. The balance owed to the singer has yet to be paid out.
