Bodycam footage from an Ohio police department captures the dramatic arrest of two stalking suspects after a chaotic foot chase that took place inside a Walmart on August 13. The Cleveland Police Department identified the suspects as Shanaja Jones and Walter Clay Robinson Jr. Both suspects fled from officers when they were confronted in the supercenter. While Robinson and Jones were both charged with menacing by stalking, Jones also faces additional charges of murder and contempt of court.
The footage shows the intense moments as the officers apprehended the suspects, commanding them to stay still and questioning them about what they have on them. Eventually, both suspects were apprehended and taken into custody. There was a moment of confusion among the officers when they realized they had Jones in custody, even though they initially believed she had escaped. The officers eventually confirmed that they had the correct suspect.
