Over the weekend, Quavo sparked concern amongst fans after tweeting, "I kno it’s been some years but now I’m taking Xanz."
While many believed that the rapper was confessing to being on drugs, Quavo addressed the tweet with VIBE and quelled any concern. Quavo explained that he was tweeting a line from his song "Disciples" on his new Rocket Power album.
Quavo told VIBE, "I’m fine. I’m okay. It’s just y’all gotta listen to my lyrics. Y’all ain’t listening to the lyrics. So right now, I’m breaking them down over Twitter."
He added, "I might say a line, I might say a bar. But if you listen to the album, those are bars and lines that I’m actually displaying on my Twitter. But I’m good. Thank y’all for y’all concerns."

Quavo took to Twitter on Sunday (August 27) night, where he shared a message that alarmed fans. The message read, "I kno it’s been some years but now I’m taking Xanz," which many believe is a reference to the prescription drug Xanax.
The tweet sparked concern for fans, as Quavo has been open about struggling with the death of his nephew and rap partner, Takeoff. Earlier this month, Quavo released a video for the rollout of his new project, Rocket Power on YouTube, where he spoke about crying himself to sleep some nights.
Quavo stated, "I think about him all the time. Sometimes I cry myself to sleep, you know, and that's it. I just know he's here. I know that if I can't feel him I just know he's around."
Quavo has yet to clarify his tweet, but we'll be sure to keep you updated.
