On Tuesday, a wild high-speed chase involving the California Highway Patrol ended with the suspect crashing his silver convertible into an inmate bus on the freeway in Pomona, California (about 30 miles outside of Los Angeles). The CHP's pursuit got underway after the suspect refused to pull over in Santa Fe Springs. The suspect reached a speed well over 100 MPH before the car wreck. Thankfully, he survived the incident, and no inmates were aboard the bus during the crash.
