Larry Elder was a guest on The Breakfast Club on Thursday (August 17), where he spoke about his 2024 presidential campaign, systematic racism, and fatherlessness in the Black community.
Around the 48:30 mark in the interview, Charlamagne asked Elder if he ever had a "n***a wake-up call." Charlamagne described it as a person of color forgetting they're of color and being reminded of the fact "rather brutally by an unexpected act of racism."
This led to Elder bringing up Joe Biden's appearance on The Breakfast Club in 2020, where Biden responded to Charlamagne telling him he had more questions as he tried to exit the interview. Biden then stated, "You’ve got more questions? Well, I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t Black."
Elder told Charlamagne that he was shocked that he wasn't more mad about the comment, which led to a tense discussion between the two men. You can check it out in full above.
