The singer was reportedly being considered to be one of the performers at the 2024 NFL Super Bowl Halftime show, but allegedly was dropped from consideration due to the current allegations.
A report from the Daily Mail found an NFL insider delivering alleged information related to Lizzo, saying the backlash from the allegations against Lizzo caused the NFL to “immediately drop” the artist from consideration. According to the insider, Lizzo was allegedly “one of the frontrunners” to perform at the 2024 show.
Previously, Lizzo addressed the allegations against her, saying, “These sensationalized stories are coming from former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told their behavior on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional.” Stay tuned for more updates.
