Recently, it was reported that former NFL player Fred Smoot was arrested in Virginia on Thursday (August 10).
Records that surfaced along with a mugshot reveal that the former cornerback for the Washington Commanders was arrested and taken to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. TMZ noted that Smoot was currently still in custody.
The county sheriff’s office says Smoot was arrested and hit with a misdemeanor charge for “failure to comply with support obligation.” Previously, Smoot was arrested in 2019 after he allegedly didn’t appear in court over minor traffic violations. Stay tuned for more updates.
