In this clip, Ali speaks about his experience growing up in St. Louis and his connection to Nelly and the St. Lunatics. He mentions that he was a couple of years older than the members and knew them from school. Although he didn't know them well, they were acquainted through mutual friends. He also reveals that he had pursued basketball in college and had been part of a group while in school and had even secured a record deal. He was inspired to bring his talents back to his hometown and assemble a group from the Midwest. Ali emphasizes the importance of recognizing the gap in the music industry and finding their unique place within it.
