Pro wrestling is steeped in tradition solidified by families like the McMahons, the Harts, the Von Erichs, and the Rhodes. But, there are few bloodlines as storied as the Maiva-Anoa'i family. Their rich Samoan heritage includes the likes of "The High Chief" Peter Maivia, The Rock, Yokozuna, Rikishi, The Wild Samoans, along with superstars who married into the family like Rocky Johnson and Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka. Roman Reigns and The Usos are the latest descendents of generation-defining superstars from the family. Roman Reigns is the longest reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion since Hulk Hogan, while his cousins, The Usos, are just three title reigns away from surpassing the all-time mark held by The Dudley Boyz (10).

This Saturday, Roman Reigns will defend the WWE Universal Championship against his younger cousin, Jey Uso, at the main event of SummerSlam in Detriot, Michigan. An interaction between Jey and his youngest son, Jeyce, recently went viral due to Jeyce's unexpected answer after his dad asked for his prediction of his upcoming "Tribal Combat" match with Roman Reigns.

“At this point, I think Uncle Joe [Roman Reigns]."
