Stephen Curry is inarguably one of the greatest players to ever play in the NBA and will likely go down as the greatest shooter of all time. But for a certain generation of basketball fans, Curry's rise to prominence situates him as the GOAT in their eyes just as LeBron James and Michael Jordan captured the title for previous generations.

Curry, while speaking with Willie Geist of Today, said that the GOAT debate should be more generational because it's virtually impossible to land on definitive GOAT.

"I ascribe to the mindset that there are multiple GOATs," said Curry. "And I hate that, it's not a cop-out answer, but it's so hard to compare eras. And getting into that conversation of 'oh if you put Michael in this era or if you put LeBron in that era,' it's kind of unfair. It's a great barbershop debate, and it's something that'll never stop until the end of time."
