Nicknamed the "Messi of Matadors," Andrés Roca Rey has built an impressive reputation in the world of bullfighting. Although the Peruvian native has nearly a decade of experience under his belt, he was recently impaled by a 1,100-pound bull during the Santiago de Santander Fair in Spain. The horrific incident occurred when the "Messi of Matadors" tried to entice the bull to run through his red cape. Instead, it pierced the bullfighter with its horns and tossed him into the air before backing him into a wall.

Eventually, the bullfighter's teammates intervened and saved the contestant, but the damage was done. The "Messi for Matadors" suffered a wound to his leg and bruises all over his body, but none of his injuries were life-threatening.
