Recently, it was reported that police in Las Vegas searched the home of Duane “Keefe D” Davis, the last living passenger in the vehicle that the deadly drive-by shooting of Tupac Shakur was committed. Details were limited, but now Mirror has reported that bullets found in the home of Keefe D will be subject to forensic testing in the investigation of Tupac’s murder.

A warrant executed by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police resulted in police finding several .40-caliber bullets from Keefe’s home. The discovery coincides with what Keefe detailed in his ‘Compton Street Legend’ memoir, noting that a Glock pistol was used to take out the prolific rapper. It was pointed out that Glocks could use .40-caliber bullets.

Vegas police source that spoke to Mirror said, “The bullets taken from the house will absolutely be tested by forensics experts. Of course the most obvious probe will be to determine if they have any link to the bullets found in Tupac’s body or on the scene of the homicide.” The source continued, "There is no information yet on the history of the bullets, how old they are or their significance. And it will take some time to assess how the bullets play a role in this case.”

The source clarified that “it is a long shot that the bullets will be the ones from 1996.” Stay tuned for more updates.
