Previously, it was revealed that the double murder case for YNW Melly was declared a mistrial. Jurors reportedly couldn’t agree on the verdict about whether Melly was guilty of killing YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser.
Now, it has been reported that prosecutors will seek a retrial for the YNW Melly case. A status hearing is scheduled for July 28 in the courtroom where Melly was tried. The Broward County State Attorney’s offices confirmed they would retry the Melly case once again, with the news being confirmed by NBC.
