Azealia Banks has always been critical of rap music, especially women in rap. Now, the artist has shifted her focus to Nicki Minaj, speaking on the quality of her collaborations.
Banks took to Instagram and called out Minaj and her husband, saying she needed to divorce Kenneth Petty and switch up her image. “Please realize that the game being played against you is bigger than whatever flavor of the moment Girl hits the scene. Please stop trying to out hoodrat these new girls and get back to boxing these white pop stars out,” said Banks.
Banks also said Minaj will “continuously be forced to acknowledge new rap girls and be used as a marketing pawn until she [separates] fully from any and all associations/relations with sex offenders.” Take a look at her whole rant above.
