Two years ago, Florida rapper 561 Monsta (aka Javont’e Wilkins) was apprehended by law enforcement in Hamilton County for the alleged murder of his friend, Mexico (aka Kristian Lujan). After the tragic incident, Mexico's body was abandoned on the side of the highway near State Road 47. leaving law enforcement to solve a murder mystery that 561 Montsa initially denied. In the years that followed, 561 Monsta remained active on social media while behind bars, asking his supporters to put money on his books and assuring them that he would be home soon.
On Thursday, a jury found the 32-year-old arrestee guilty of murder. He now faces between 25 years to life behind bars.
