Earlier this week, a four-year-old boy went viral when a video clip emerged of his mother, Belaynesh Gebre, playfully engaging him about his desire to change his nationality from American to Mexican. The footage shows the young boy sitting in a carseat while explaining to his mother what has made him such a passionate admireer of America's neighbors. In respsonse, his mom tells him why that isn't possible because they're Africans originally from Ethiopia.
There are famous Mexican-born Africans, such as Lupita Nyong'o. Interestingly enough, in the country of Eithiopia, there is a traffic circle called "Mexico Square" located in the capital city of Addis Ababa. In correspondence, Mexico once had an "Ethiopia Square" placed in Mexico City.
