Since launching on July 5th, Threads has already amassed over 100 million new users. Mark Zuckerberg's direct answer to Twitter, owned by Elon Musk, has sparked a feud between the two social media tycoons that may eventually lead to a showdown in the court of law. With debates about which platform is better running rampant, things got even more interesting on Monday when Anas Haqqani, a leader from the Taliban, chimed in with his two cents via Twitter.

“Twitter has two important advantages over other social media platforms,” Haqqani wrote. “The first privilege is the freedom of speech. The second privilege is the public nature & credibility of Twitter. Twitter doesn't have an intolerant policy like Meta. Other platforms cannot replace it.”
