On the fourth of July, a Florida married couple named Joel(33) and Jazmine Rondon (33) took their three children out partying. The pair allegedly drank alcohol, smoked weed, and the husband used a little meth. When the family returned to their home in Lakewood, around 3 am, Jazmine reportedly tended to their two oldest kids (ages 6 and 8), before telling Joel to remember to bring 18-month-old baby inside the house. Sadly, Joel forgot to their infant in the backseat, leaving her body to bake in the hot sun until around 11am when he was preparing to leave the house for work. When Joel found his infant, she was unresponsive. The baby was pronounced dead after her parents rushed her to the Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center
Upon an investigation, Polk County Sheriffs arrested and charged Joel and Jazmine Rondon with aggravated manslaughter of a child. Doctors determined that the baby's body temperature reached nearly 105 degrees before she died, indicating that she suffered a great deal before passing.
