Recently, Philadelphia 76ers players Joel Embiid and James Harden faced a season that found them falling short of hitting the Eastern Conference Finals, seemingly getting stuck in the second round of the NBA Playoffs. Since then, Harden made it clear he is looking to leave Philly. Now, Embiid has reacted to the request by Harden.
While speaking to Rachel Nichols, Embiid was asked how he felt about the news related to Harden, saying he felt “disappointed” but understood because it’s business.
Embiid then said he appreciates how Harden has handled the situation and wants him to come back to Philly so they can win a title. Embiid then made it known he and Harden are friends and have grown close since Harden joined the team. Watch above.
