Twenty years ago, Dwight Howard was drafted out of high school by the Orlando Magic. The two decades that followed saw the 6'10 Center nab, ten NBA All-Star selections, three straight Defensive Player of the Year awards, and an NBA Championship in 2020. Today, Dwight Howard has five children (Jayde, Braylon, Layla, Dwight III, and David) by five different women. Although he was often criticized for his lack of seriousness on the court, Dwight has been very open about parenting children living all over the country and being heavily involved in their lives.

Dwight Howard currently plays professional basketball for the TaiwanBeer Leopards in Taiwan. Now that the summertime is here, the T1 league is on a hiatus until October 1st. In the meantime, Dwight is back home in the U.S., spending time with his kids. He recently uploaded footage of himself working out with his kids. One of the clips showed him encouraging his son to continue to exercise, although he was crying and saying, "I can't." The video has sparked controversy from naysayers who say that Dwight was abusive and supporters who believe he was simply performing the duties of a great father to a young man who may become a superb athlete someday.
