Chicago rapper Boss Top was sentenced to five years in prison for felony gun charges, according to No Jumper, who posted his sentencing information. The offense listed on the paperwork reveals that the charges are for being a felon in possession of a firearm. 

Back in 2021, Boss Top opened up about facing 21 to 45 years in his home invasion and gun possession case. During the sit-down, Boss Top revealed that he was held on a $1.5 million bond in the case, and he added that the years he was facing were due to the fact that he didn't cooperate. He also spoke about how one of his co-defendants in the case snitched by dropping his name multiple times during his interrogation. You can hear the full interview here
