This January marked the 20th anniversary of 'In Da Club' by 50 Cent. After making a big splash with a series of mixtapes, the NYC native dropped his debut studio album with the help of his executive producers, Eminem and Dr. Dre. Together, they made a classic LP called, Get Rich or Die Tryin', with a lead single that remains prevalent; it recently reached the 1 billion streams plateau on Spotify.
Spotify recently commemorated 50 Cent's latest achievement by awarding the rapper-turned-television/film executive with a 1,000,000,000 plaque for 'In Da Club.' Shortly thereafter, the founder of G-Unit Film and Television Inc. took to Instagram to share the news with his fans.
