YNW Melly's double murder trial entered day four on Thursday (June 15), where YNW Melly's ex-girlfriend, Mariah Hamilton, and her mother, Felicia Holmes, took the stand.

According to Law & Crime Network correspondent Bryson “Boom” Paul, who has been covering the case from the courtroom, Holmes allegedly overheard Melly's conversation with Hamilton on Snapchat the night YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser were killed. Paul tweeted, "Judge John Murphy III denies the Prosecutor’s use of @Snapchat memories in the next witness testimony due to the presence of a firearm and cash in one of the videos."

Paul reports that the judge denied the use of the Snapchat post because it was "prejudicial," as it would be biased against Melly without contributing to facts in the case. The judge used the same reason for denying the use of Melly's "Murder on My Mind" music video wouldn't be used either.
