Meek Mill has been vocal about certain social media platforms he doesn’t rock with and how it affects the real world in real time. Now, the Philadelphia artist has taken to Twitter to react to Elon Musk’s new plan for introducing paid advertisements to the platform.
Musk said he is about to throw the bag at content creators on Twitter, laying out a payment structure in the process. “In a few weeks, X/Twitter will start paying creators for ads served in their replies. First block payment totals $5M,” said Musk.
Meek retweeted Musk and simply said, “I’m about to cut Instagram fully off! Lol.” Previously, the rapper noted he wanted to step away from Twitter after dealing with “too many bots and weird people.” Stay tuned for more updates.
