Lil Tjay was hanging out with fans in NYC on Tuesday (June 6), when he was approached by police and led away in handcuffs. He was placed in a squad car, but the details surrounding his arrest are still unknown.
This comes after Tjay was arrested in May for possessing a firearm without a permit. His lawyer, Dawn Florio, addressed the incident, telling the Instagram account @nydrillofficial, "This arrest is not a new gun charge. He had to turn himself in for the case where he was a victim where he was shot multiple times." Florio was referring to the June 2021 incident where Tjay was shot multiple times during a robbery attempt in New Jersey.
